Crescent Career Center is excited to welcome high school students who want to explore the world of technology this summer. Our two programs—the Tech+ Summer Program and the IT Summer Program—offer a chance to learn fundamental IT skills, meet industry professionals, and connect with others who share your curiosity.

Tech+ Summer Program
The Tech+ Summer Program runs from July 7 to August 1, 2025, on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Over these four weeks, you’ll work through the basics of information technology and prepare for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam, a credential that can stay with you for life.
By the time you finish, you’ll have a stronger grip on core IT concepts and a résumé booster that stands out when you apply for future opportunities. The program cost is $4,495.
IT Summer Program
The IT Summer Program offers shorter sessions across nine possible weeks in June, July, and August. You can enroll in a half-day block from 8 am-12 pm or 1-5 pm, or you can come for a full day from 8 am-5 pm with a break for lunch.
Every session covers new ground, from the parts of a computer and different operating systems to résumé-building, office etiquette, and an introduction to IT pathways like networking and cybersecurity. Half-day sessions cost $300 per week, and full-day sessions are $550.

If you’re a current high school student looking to develop skills that employers value, these programs can give you a head start. You’ll meet instructors who’ve worked in help desk support and cybersecurity, try out practical exercises that mirror real IT tasks, and come away with new confidence in your abilities.
You’ll also learn how to communicate professionally, solve problems on the fly, and lead when it’s your turn to step up. By the end of your chosen program, you’ll have a clearer sense of where you want to go in tech—and some memorable summer experiences.
